Lord Forgive Me

Before I'm standing at the gate and God won't let me in.

Hit my knees say a prayer and account for my sins.

Take a deep breath now tell me where should I begin.

When I turned into a sinner before the age of 10. 

I was a hard-headed child I didn't listen at all.

I was told how to succeed, yet I was determined to fall. 

Everything I was told don't do, was the first thing I’d do. 

When my life turned upside down, Lord I blamed it on you.

You don't love me you deserted me I turned my back on you.

When nights where the darkest, it was you that pulled me through.

Grandma told me the devil will test you and God has the answers. 

Ask forgiveness, he'll forgive you then write a better chapter. 

No more doubt, no more hate, no more life of envy. 

I fell to my knees and begged Lord forgive me
